Kevin Dallmier is a Senior Environmental Scientist with Riverbend Environmental, Inc. Mr. Dallmier graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a Master of Science in Zoology – Fisheries Management.
Before coming to Riverbend Environmental, Mr. Dallmier had 30+ years experience in natural resource management and environmental regulation with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources as a Wildlife Resources Division Fisheries Biologist and as District Manager of the Georgia Environmental Protection Division’s (EPD) Mountain District. His fisheries experience includes fish sampling with various types of collection gear in streams, rivers, and lakes and drafting management plans; technical assistance to private lake owners; investigation of public waters fish kills; and operation and oversight of state fish hatcheries and public recreation areas.
With Georgia EPD, Mr. Dallmier conducted and oversaw inspections of regulated facilities including NPDES construction stormwater sites, solid waste facilities, and wastewater treatment plants. Mr. Dallmier’s extensive background in the Erosion and Sedimentation and NPDES Construction Stormwater programs included site inspections; enforcement issuance, negotiation, and resolution; NPDES permit drafting and program implementation and oversight; jurisdictional waters and state waters determination/delineations; and support and technical assistance to city/county Local Issuing Authority (LIA) programs.
With Riverbend Environmental Mr. Dallmier is involved in Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, environmental management plans, corrective action and remediation plans, wetlands and Georgia state waters delineations, NPDES stormwater regulatory assessments, Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) implementation and monitoring, Army Corps of Engineers permitting and Georgia stream buffer variance permitting, and government relations.
Mr. Dallmier has completed certifications for: GASWCC Level 1B and Level 2 Soil and Erosion, North Carolina Method Stream Identification and Classification, MS4 Stormwater Inspector, GRWA Basic Wastewater, SWANA Georgia Certified Landfill Operator, and OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER. He resides in Menlo, Georgia and enjoys fishing and boating.
